1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Celestial, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Celestial.
If you use Celestial on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.
2. What Celestial Provides
Celestial is an astrology app that may provide natal charts, daily horoscope readings, planetary transits, Western tropical and Vedic sidereal astrology profiles, placement cards, generated reports, and conversational Ask features. Features may vary by device, region, subscription status, app version, and service availability.
You must provide accurate birth information if you want accurate chart calculations. Incorrect birth date, birth time, birth place, timezone, or astrology system selection may produce incorrect or incomplete results.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use Celestial. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age, that higher age applies. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your device, Apple ID, and account credentials secure.
You agree not to impersonate another person, create accounts through unauthorized means, interfere with account security, or use Celestial in a way that harms the app, other users, or the service infrastructure.
4. Astrology and AI Disclaimer
Celestial content is provided for reflection, self-understanding, spirituality, personal journaling, and entertainment. Astrology readings, AI-generated responses, daily horoscopes, transits, reports, and placement cards are not medical advice, not legal advice, not financial advice, not psychological treatment, not emergency support, and not a substitute for professional judgment.
Celestial does not guarantee predictions, outcomes, compatibility, timing, relationship results, career results, health outcomes, financial outcomes, or any life event. You remain responsible for your decisions and actions.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, repetitive, or inappropriate for your circumstances. Do not rely on Celestial for crisis support or urgent decisions. If you are in danger or experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.
5. Subscriptions, Trials, and Purchases
Celestial may offer free features, paid subscriptions, trials, lifetime purchases, add-ons, or other in-app purchases. Purchases made through the iOS app are billed by Apple through your Apple ID and are subject to Apple's App Store terms, payment rules, cancellation rules, refund rules, and standard end user license agreement where applicable.
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, according to Apple's rules. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. Celestial does not control Apple's refund decisions or payment processing.
Prices, included features, trial availability, and promotional offers may change. If a feature requires an active entitlement and your purchase cannot be verified, access may be limited until the entitlement is restored or renewed.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Celestial for unlawful, abusive, harassing, exploitative, or harmful activity.
- Submit content that infringes rights, invades privacy, or contains threats, abuse, or malicious code.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to Celestial or its systems.
- Use Celestial to make automated decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, medical care, legal matters, or other high-impact decisions.
- Misrepresent AI or astrology content as professional advice or guaranteed prediction.
- Bypass subscriptions, entitlements, rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
7. User Content and Chat Inputs
You may submit birth details, questions, messages, preferences, feedback, and other content to Celestial. You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant Celestial the right to process it as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the app, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit another person's birth data, private information, or chat content unless you have permission and a lawful basis to do so.
8. Intellectual Property
Celestial, including its app design, text, generated interface, brand elements, visual style, software, code, graphics, and other materials, is owned by the app operator or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Celestial to you.
You may use Celestial only for your personal, non-commercial use unless we give you written permission otherwise.
9. Privacy
Your use of Celestial is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what information may be collected, how it is used, how AI and astrology processing may work, and how to request access, export, or deletion.
10. Third-Party Services
Celestial may rely on third-party services such as Apple, hosting providers, authentication providers, databases, analytics or diagnostics providers, AI providers, and payment or subscription infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Celestial is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.
11. Availability, Changes, and Termination
Celestial may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms as the app changes. If changes are material, we may provide notice in the app or through another appropriate channel.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, misuse subscriptions or entitlements, or if required by law. You may stop using Celestial at any time.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Celestial is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that Celestial will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, secure, or suitable for your specific needs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Celestial and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, emotional distress, or life decisions made based on astrology or AI-generated content.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so some limits may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Celestial and its operators from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the app, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person's rights.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the app operator, except where local consumer protection laws require a different rule. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled in the courts or forums that have lawful jurisdiction over the app operator and the dispute.
